In order to strengthen the management of drug GMP inspection and certification, further standardize GMP inspection and certification, advance the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice for Pharmaceutical Products (2010 revised edition), the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) organized the revision of Measures for Drug GMP Certification and issued the Measures recently. The Measures, comprising seven chapters and 40 articles, goes into effect from the date of promulgation. The Notice on Issuing Measures for Drug GMP Certification (Guo Shi Yao Jian An [2005] No. 437), which was issued in 2005, shall be abrogated simultaneously.
